NMC: SALT GROUPS

SALT objectives

To give each member of NMC an opportunity to grow through fellowship, encouragement and care from other members of the NMC family in a setting where people honestly share their lives.
To give members an opportunity to grow by holding each other accountable
To give each member an opportunity to grow through service. SALT provides a forum where ministry and leadership gifts are nurtured and put to use.
To give each member an opportunity to grow through in-depth and consistent study of the word of God.

Spiritual And Life-enrichment Teams (SALT)

Matt. 5:13 we are the salt of the earth.

(SALT) are the small groups in NMC. We believe that one of the best ways to retain and enhance our saltiness, and be able to pass it on to the world is by benefiting from the support of one another in the context of small groups.

Structure

Each Spiritual And Life-enrichment Team has 8-12 members who meet regularly to meet the above objectives. Currently, many of the Teams meet on Sunday after the service.
Teams are however not restricted to meet on Sunday and may choose their place and time of meeting that best favors all the members.
Teams seek to multiply themselves by growing beyond the maximum number and giving birth to another SALT. Each team has a coordinator and an assistant.
