Jirani Connection

We believe in: The participation of all members in outreach. The highlight of our outreach campaign this year is the Jirani Connection.

Jirani is Kiswahili for neighbor; hence the Jirani connection is the Neighborhood Connection.This is an ongoing ministry that will give each church member an opportunity to share God's love with our neighbors, colleagues and the larger community in word and deed. In April we had a great environmental clean up day and another one is scheduled for September this year.

Mission to the unchurched and the needy

The Lord has opened for us an effectual door in the Daadab refugee camp where we have had the previllege of touching and seeing many lives impacted for Christ. This door opened through the ministry of NMC partner missionaries Ken & Eunice Ochieng who are based in Garissa (under Life Ministry).

We have adopted God's Love church, a congregation made up of Anwak refugees from Ethiopia. We realized that it is easier for us to equip them to reach the many unreached peoples in this large refugee camp. We have finished roofing the church for them and are now conducting a Leadership & Bible Training Program which our brother Henry Muteti is spearheading. We hope that through the continuing effort we shall be able to reach their area of origin in Ethiopia.
